Lucretius on evolution, infinity of space @50 BC
The Roman philosopher Lucretius (@50 BC) was ahead of his time.
Although he didn't get everything right in his contemplations--on atoms; evolution of
species; natural phenomena (that is, that the gods don't make things happen); and
the possibility of the infinity of space--he nevertheless had advanced thinking on
those topics.
